Learned the function of the T key about 700 hours into the game.
And of course my own share of stupid stuff. Capping without a cap sig (more times then I'd like to count), regular salvaging purple and gold armors, etc. Oh well, we all learn at our own pace.

I went through almost the entire story mode using normal salvage kits on purple/gold salvages, and after unlocking the rune and salvaging cloth or something, I'd always think to myself "That's stupid whats the point in unlocking the rune if I can't get it now" I'v now learned my lesson and my storage has too many runes in it lol.

Also, I'v beaten Prophesies AND Factions and I just NOW learned space bar is atk key, and the tab trick too. I'd always turn the camera and click the enemy, and if I wasn't atking, I'd move my mouse to his red health bar at the top and click it.

Second day playing the game, had silver dye drop in pre-searing. Put it on my starter pants. Lasted me quite awhile though, since I left presear at level 3 and never got the collector stuff, and didn't know how to get fur squares with charr hides so it was quite some time before I upgraded them.

Vendored or salvaged all of my charr hides as I went through ascalon.

Vendored my first -50 hp grim cesta.

Vendored lots of blue/purple/gold salvage items because I didn't know you could get runes from them. Same thing with weapons.

Bought droks amor for my first character, then deleted him to make a new warrior a couple days later.

Accidentely salvaged items that I was trying to identify.

I sold a Gordac's needle for 10k.

And found out afterwards that it was worth over an excess of 100k....

I bought a Brohn's Staff back in the day when it was 100k+ectos and sold it to the merchant the next day. Stupid tit. /doh

Deleted accidentally ( yeah I typed the name in and deleted him accidentally ) my Warrior that I spent 300k + 50k I had on him, all missions done, almost all bonuses and quests in tyria, almost 1 yr old. Had to spend 200k in my storage making another warrior.

After hours of grinding faction to obtain jadeite for my 15k luxon monk armour,i bought all the materials ,and by accident bought the 1.5k armour,wasted loadsa jade....sigh i felt soo stupid

After using him for around 200 hours, realized I had named my ele "Dr Stranglelove" instead of Dr Strangelove. Now everyone thinks I have an autoerotic asphyxiation thing. Moral of the story: watch out for typos.

1.) Yes Catapults hurt....

So im running Fort Ranik mission with a couple of first timers. I'm a bored lvl. 20 E/mo and I bring armor of earth and shockwave. My main goal was to use the shockwave to wipe out all the char at the catapult zone and display my awesome AoE killing skills to wow the newbies. So I head out in solo talking trash about how many char im going to waste in one blast. I finally get to the army and rush in with excitement, the char line up perfectly and in one shot I blast most of them into oblivion. I wipe out all the char and I'm like hey where the hell did everyone go? Of course I neglected to tell them NOT to fire the cat.

Newbie: "Hey whats this lever do?" CRRAAAANKKKK

Me: "Oh... sh---" -999 siege attack. >.<

2.) When changing elements... change EVERYTHING.

Me: "Ok all im going max earth! Obisidian flame!" *20 dmg.*

Me: "WTF!" *Opens stat menu and looks at attributes* >.<

3.) Arrows are not melee

Five avicara fierce show up and lock on to me with dual shot and ignite arrows

Me: "I'm using Ward of Melee!" >.<

4.) Oops my bad!

Me: "Who wants to come skill cap in Mineral Springs! Add self!"

We go outside and there are 3 hearts of the titans waiting for us.

Everyone Else: "Who the F--- has DNKP." >.<

5.) Boom.

7 Affliced warriors surround me and I have silver armor on, they are all on low life.

Me: "I'm using crystal wave!" >.< -145 Afflicted Soul Explosion x4

I get blinding alot by air eles while playing a monk in RA... also get empathy every once in a while -.-

1) Deleted 100k, which for some reason i was holding on a pvp slot

2) Salvage a rune of sup vigor with my regular salvage kit ...got something along the lines of 10 cloth, this was back when they were worth around 95k

Out capping Obsidian Flesh earlier today. Killed Harn Coldstone, went to reply on msn and somehow managed to close GW before i capped

Then went back out again, rushed, got all the henchman massacred.... then went and soloed a ton of Dark Flame Dryders and a few Drakes and capped it solo

so the other day i was getting ready to do vizunah square (foreign district) and i thought "hey aflicted aren't human... i'm a ranger... i have sup beastmastery helm.... i'll take EoE!"

well everything was going great, i was killing things, my pet was shredding those monsters.

[just to let you know this was very early on and in the international districts, no other team was involved (well they were, but they were henchies)]

then i got to the third group where they really start to swarm you and "AH HA! perfect use for this edge of extention" about 30 seconds later all of the aflicted blew up at the same time, killing the warriors and anyone who they were standing next to, and edge of extention did the rest.... my whole team dead in under 2 seconds >.<

Oh dude that is ruff -_- But I think I would have died laughing if I was you.... That's to grand not to be funny ... Sorry I am not trying to laugh at your expense, I just think I would have rolled over and died laughing if it was me, not to be mean of course, its just funny how sometimes the best ideas have the worst outcomes at times -_-

I used a regular salvage kit on superior absorption when they were around 75,000 gold and got 11 bolts of cloth
